ff.1318 (total in 3 parcels); 355 x 222mm; text size 305 x 160mm; 34 lines, unbound. All in the same handwriting but in different sizes.
This is part of the first complete Old Testament to be issued in the Synod’s version, and was translated by D. A. Chwolson and V. A. Levisohn and published St. Petersburg, 1875. (DM 7860).

This series of acdemic off-prints, and hand-outs from acadermic seminars, was accrued by Michael H. Crawford over several decades. Colleagues sent him off-prints of their recently published articles and he was aso gifted much older, important off-prints from others' private collections. The subject matter is predominantly the material culture of the ancient Mediterranean during the ancient Greek, Hellenistic and Roman eras, with a focus upon epigraphy and numismatics.
